Poster Design Insights
- A good poster design does not necessarily have to follow all the design rules. Sometimes, truly eye-catching works are born by breaking certain principles.
Seven poster design principles
- The design principle is to help us create pictures that are both beautiful and effectively convey information. Although they are not absolute limitations, understanding them can give you a better sense of direction when creating.
1. Emphasis (Emphasis)
- Let the audience know where the focus is at a glance and highlight the focus of the picture.
2. Balance & Alignment
- Whether it is symmetrical or asymmetrical, good layout can make the vision more comfortable and stable.
3. Contrast
- Create visual separation and attractiveness through differences in color, size, font thickness, etc.
4. Repetition
- Unify visual elements, such as graphics, font styles or colors, to increase overall coordination.
5. Proportion
- It refers to the size and weight of each element in the picture, and whether the relationship between them is coordinated.
6. Movement
- Use the arrangement of elements to guide the audience's eyes to move in the way the designer wants to convey information.
7. White Space
- Sometimes, the blank is more powerful than the content. Appropriate blank space can make the vision more refreshing and the focus more prominent.

Summary of your design concept:
1. Collage structure design:
• The background is based on a cloth-textured mountain landscape, using soft blue-purple and ochre-red tones to create a transitional atmosphere "between dreams and dusk". The outline of the mountain looks like both land and an open page of time.
• The foreground uses multiple elements (pages, flowers, butterflies) to create a sense of depth, deliberately blurring the perspective to create a non-linear "memory space", making people feel that it is both real and like the inner world.
2. Element symbol selection:
• Butterfly: a symbol of transformation and rebirth, the color scheme uses blue to echo the theme of "quiet transformation".
• Flying birds and white butterflies: flying around the characters in a dynamic path, creating a visual momentum of "awakening of thoughts and souls".
• Yellow light and rays: introducing hand-painted starlight, distributed in an irregular rhythm, to enhance the mystery and the flow of cosmic energy.
