PRACTICAL
HONOR ANIMATION
After completing the animation in After Effects, I imported the work into Photoshop to integrate it into a complete HONOR dynamic poster, which includes the display animation effects of mobile phones and tablets.
REFLECTION
During the production process, I originally started with a hand-painted style, but halfway through I realized that if I used texture materials and then used Photoshop to overlay layers and adjust colors, the picture would have a stronger sense of space and story atmosphere. So I decided to change from the original painting route to a collage-style visual design.
After adjusting the entire composition, I spent time reorganizing the layer structure and tried different blending modes and color processing to make each element both independent and integrated with the background. This stage made me realize the flexibility in visual narrative - sometimes turning at the right time will make the work more complete.
After completing the static image, I continued to try animation in After Effects to give the original static elements movement. For example, the fluttering of butterflies, the flickering of light, the drifting of birds, etc., these subtle movements make the whole picture have a "breathing sense". Although I was not familiar with the animation settings at the beginning, after slowly exploring, I also understood the operation of the timeline and keyframes.
This work allowed me to combine collage art and animation for the first time, and it also gave me more confidence to try different media to express my ideas. In the future, I hope to continue to improve on creating atmosphere and dynamic expression, and create visual stories with more emotional connections.
