MODULE INFORMATION BRIEF (MIB)
Exercise 1: Quantify & Visualize Data
For this exercise, we were required to quantify and visualize objects by arranging them into a clear layout. The goal is to present the quantity of objects in a simple and understandable visual form.
Initial Exploration
I collected several paper clips with different sizes, shapes and colours. At the beginning, I placed them on the background and started grouping them to observe their differences.
Classification
After observing the paper clips, I classified them based on size, shape and colour. The smaller paper clips were categorized into oval and triangle shapes, while the larger paper clips were grouped according to their colours.
Final Outcome
Finally, I arranged the paper clips neatly and added labels and quantity indicators to clearly present the data.
Exercise 2: L.A.T.C.H Infographic
For Exercise 2, the task is to organize information into a visual poster using the LATCH principles, which include Location, Alphabet, Time, Category, and Hierarchy. The aim is to present information clearly and visually through an infographic design.
Idea Development
For this project, I decided to use Pokémon as the topic because it contains many different characters and categories. This makes it suitable for organizing information visually.
Information Organization
I organized the Pokémon based on category and habitat. Different Pokémon are placed in different environments such as forest, volcano, mountain, and ocean. Each group also shows the evolution stages of the Pokémon.
Final Outcome
In the final poster, the Pokémon are arranged according to their habitats with clear visual sections. The infographic helps viewers easily understand the relationship between Pokémon evolution and their environments.
REFLECTION
Reflect on your learning journey: What did you learn? What challenges did you face? How did you overcome them?
